Abstract Sandra Ortiz was involved with both the National Latino/a Lesbian and Gay Organization (LLEGO) and Lesbianas Unidas. She worked for the Alcoholism Center for Women (ACW) and had a special focus on working with Latinas and lesbians struggling with addiction.
