Abstract
Cory Roberts-Auli (April 10, 1963 - March 10, 1996) was a gay artist of Puerto Rican and Irish descent. His artwork notably included medical supplies, and HIV-infected blood and other bodily fluids as pigments. His exhibition "The New Shrouds of Turin: The Plague Years" was created in collaboration with photographer Luz Calvo and features a series of portraits that represented the realities of living with AIDS and stigma surrounding HIV.
