Alicia Alarcón is a Los Angeles based radio and TV personality and journalists who has hosted a show on Radio Única 1580 AM since the 1990s. Much of her work has focused on the experiences of immigrants and crossing the U.S.-Mexico border. She compiled these narratives into a book titled La Migra me hizo los mandados (2002). This collection documents her work and includes writings and photographs, as well as audio and audio-visual recordings of her media work.
