This collection is comprised of artifacts created and collected by Alicia Gaspar de Alba and Sandra Ruiz for a student-led exhibit on the Maquiladora Murders in Juarez, as well as items from a conference related to the subject. Materials include clothing, artistic displays and objects, and papers.

Physical Description
Black, halter-top, velvet dress decorated with glitter, small metallic stars. A black velvet heart sewed onto the dress, outlined in sequins and pierced with a letter opener. There are also red velvet lips sewed onto the front bottom of the dress and back. A periwinkle bra is sewn into the dress. Mardi Gras beads are hanging from the coat hanger.
