Scope and Contents
This series contains materials related to Yolanda's research, as well as subject files she compiled on LGBTQ studies and U.S. Latino history. This includes: education and segregation, the history of Pride and protests, lesbian feminists and their activism, social movements, native researchers and methodology, Max T. Vargas, her work with Betita Martinez, LGBTQ history and gender theory, feminism and intersectionality, Latina history and feminism, and Latin American feminism and Queer community.
Materials include articles and clippings, photocopies of magazine covers, photographs, exhibit materials, magazines, notes, presentation materials, reading lists, eBay listing for books and postcards, and bibliographies.
