Scope and Contents
This series contains materials related to Yolanda's doctoral dissertation, as well as other writings throughout her life and career. It also includes research materials and articles that Yolanda collected while writing. Writing topics include Lesbian Los Angeles, women of color, identity development, Lesbian activism, Latino history, bilingual education, Lesbian ethnohistory, lesbians of color, Max T. Vargas, Lesbian News, and LGBTQ archives.
Materials include drafts, final drafts, articles, clippings, notes, class assignments, photocopies of postcards, correspondence, including with publishers, and bibliographies.
